You’ve already seen the empty city streets in photo form, and now you can with epic drone video aerial shots.
If you’ve been wondering what the city looks like almost completely empty from all angles, you can now take a tour of Manhattan thanks to videographer Mingomatic. They created a video released on YouTube earlier this week, which includes a mix of shots from a drone, helicopter, car and simply walking around.
They pass through all the usual hopping spots: Grand Central Station, Midtown, Madison Square Garden, Times Square, Chinatown, Wall Street, Bryant Park, and Rockefeller Center. It is so surreal to see what all these spaces look like without the usual hustle and bustle of people. Of course, it means people are being safe and following “stay at home” orders well.
