The Empire State Building has been known to light up in different colors for special occasions. However, the game was stepped up in 2012 when an LED light system was installed capable of displaying 16 million colors. This has allowed them to create gorgeous light shows for holiday celebrations.
Now, they’ll be dazzling the city nightly with their light displays! At the top of every hour between sunset and 2 a.m., the Empire State Building’s “iconic tower lights will sparkle and light up the skyline.”
