If there’s one thing about NYC it’s that there’s never a shortage of venues to head to and damn good parties to get down at. And, well, Brooklyn is home to the city’s best spots to catch a show and have a good time–and they’re now making it way easier to enjoy a show.
The multi-room venue Elsewhere is Brooklyn’s leading independent music venue, nightclub, and arts space that hosts 600+ events each year. And their newest membership program makes it possible for partygoers to navigate through the stress of snagging tix to their favorite events.
Members will have access to way more than just first dibs on tickets, however–they’ll also have the ability to discover new music, access exclusive offers, chat in the club’s Discord, and connect more deeply with fellow music lovers off the dance floor so they can break it down with them on the dance floor.
The new digital membership program consists of three tiers that each have unique benefits, including:
Tier 1: Freaks with Benefits – $2/month
- Skip-the-line
- Free coat check
- Members-only offers
- And more
Tier 2: Sonic Explorer – $6/month
- Unlimited half-off tickets for you +1 guest
- Show discounts
- All perks from Tier 1
Tier 3: Patron Saint – $30/month
- Free entry to shows and parties
- Half-off tickets for a guest
- Reserved tickets for sold out events
- Free merch
- All perks from Tier 1 and 2
The membership is not meant to create “VIP status” customers, but rather to benefit those who are most active in the Elsewhere community. It also works to support Elsewhere’s mission to build a more progressive and uplifting nightlife culture. I mean, Tier 3 offers unlimited free entry for just $360/year…you can’t really beat that.
“This membership is really about taking all these rad people we see at our club every week who care about emerging culture as much as we do, and gathering them together in one place to talk and connect,” said Jake Rosenthal, founder of Elsewhere. “As independents and creatives, we have the unique advantage over the corporate spaces to build community-centered models, like membership, that are designed to genuinely bring people together.”
A very limited run of memberships are available to the public on a first-come, first-served basis. Members will receive a digital membership card, which can be added to Google or Apple Wallets and will serve as their key to the venue.
