What to expect at the Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy: Chapter Two
Infused with powerful themes of love, loss, and regret, Poe’s legendary tales explore dark yet intriguing aspects of the human psyche. Within this latest chapter of the Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy, historians will bring four new stories to life, allowing the audience to further explore Poe’s fascinating worlds.
The second chapter of the speakeasy will take up residence at The Arches. For two nights only, the rustic event space will be decked out in Gothic decor, with dimly lit lanterns and flickering candles setting a suitably moody scene. Among the featured tales are The Cask of Amontillado, Annabel Lee, The Pit and the Pendulum, and The Fall of the House of Usher.
Of course, libations are also a key component of the themed experience. Guests can anticipate themed cocktails such as the Lover’s Lament, a bittersweet blend of bourbon, lemonade, and hibiscus. Mocktails are also available upon request!

Guests will enjoy a 90-minute immersive show while sipping on four complimentary cocktails. Tickets start at $55 and are available to those ages 21 and above. It is not necessary to have attended the first chapter of the Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy to enjoy Chapter Two!
