With winter (almost) in the rearview, it’s time to start looking forward to spring and thew beginning of rooftop season!
That said, the wintry rooftops are beginning their seasonal transformations again in preparation for the warmer days ahead. Eataly’s Birreria Rooftop is back for the spring with today’s opening of SERRA FIORITA. The space will transport you to the Italian countryside with a bright, fun ambiance inspired by a “flowering greenhouse” (which is the meaning behind this season’s name).
According to their announcement, the restaurant will offer seasonal dishes infused with Italian tradition and plenty of refreshing cocktails. With a dedicated Spritz cocktail menu there’s bound to be a creation perfect for every guest. The menu will feature the traditional Aperol spritz, but will also include five variations of the classic Italian refresher.
SERRA FIORITA will also offer a natural wine list, and lots of pork. The rooftop restaurant “will work with some of the best pork producers both in Italy and the U.S. that use as much of the pig as they can. You’ll get to enjoy a savory bite of well-seasoned Roman-style porchetta, a delicate slice of Prosciutto di Carpegna cured in the breeze of Marche hillsides, and a variety of regional Italian sausages like spicy ‘nduja and fennel.”
The restaurant will be open from Sunday through Thursday, 11:30 a.m. until 10 p.m. and on Fridays and Saturdays from 11:30 a.m. until 11 p.m.
