If you want an escape to Italy this year, this might be a sign! Eataly locations across NYC are launching limited menus that highlight a taste of Rome, specifically the region of Lazio.
You might notice the new red menus, filled with new delicious items! To start, the Polpette Fritte (Meatballs) are crisp outside and moist on the interior covered in a bold arrabbiata-style tomato sauce.
The new Roman dishes we had the pleasure of tasting included Carciofo Fritto alla Romana (Fried Artichoke) crisp to perfection and paired with a rich and peppery Pecorino Romano. Main dishes include, indulgent Fettucine Alfredo (made with 18-month agriform Parmigiano Reggiano). Pizza Tre Carciofi (made with artichoke puree, sauteed artichokes and more).
Nothing beats dessert, and the Espresso Martini Tiramisu is a must-have! The beverage menu also allows you to journey through Lazio so you can taste wines, beers and cocktail options within this region! (Our favorite was the Pallini Limoncello Spritz).
Plus, for the price of $30, experience an exclusive tasting menu during ‘Roman Nights’ (gratuity is not included). These incredible and limited dinners take place at Eataly Ristorante in Soho as well as La Pizza & La Pasta at the Eataly Downtown and Flatiron locations.
