Where to get Easter brunch in NYC this year
1. Leuca, Williamsburg
The Brooklyn eatery nestled in the William Vale Hotel is ringing in the springtime holiday to the fullest. On Saturday, April 19th, families can follow up their egg hunt across the 15,000-square-foot Vale Park with brunch from James Beard award-winning chef, Andrew Carmellini. On the holiday itself, Sunday April 20th, families can partake in brunch or a three-course traditional Sunday supper that will make you feel like you’re at the family dinner table. The three-course menu includes lumache pomodoro, short ribs, and assorted Italian cookies for dessert. ($75 per person, $25 for children 12 and under.)
Book a reservation2. Grand Brasserie in Grand Central Terminal’s Vanderbilt Hall, Midtown
For a sophisticated Easter Sunday brunch, look no further than the newly-opened Grand Brasserie in Grand Central Station — a setting that is as grand as the menu is delicious. Executive Chef Guillaume Thivet is offering brunch, prix fixe dinner, and dinner à la carte menus on the holiday. We’re personally thinking of going the Eggs Benedict or steak and eggs route. You?
3. The Rockaway Hotel + Spa, Queens
Have summer on the brain? We can’t blame you. This warm-weather destination is starting the fun early with Easter brunch and celebrations: delicious eats, from charcuterie picks to pastries and hot dishes, and face painting for the little ones. ($75 per person, $35 per children 12 and under.)
4. New York Marriott Marquis, Midtown
If you have family traveling in from Penn Station or Grand Central, meet in Midtown for the New York Marriott Marquis’ ” Very Eggcellent Easter Brunch Buffet” with delicious bites, sprawling views of Times Square, and photo opps and crafts. Each brunch slot — 10am, 11:45am, and 1:30pm — is paired with an egg hunt for your little bunnies. ($99 for adults, $49.50 for children ages 5-12, $25 for children under 5)
5. Crazy Pizza, SoHo
If you have little ones in tow — or if you’re craving Italian bites — this unique SoHo eatery will not only offer its classics like spaghetti pomodoro and zany options like Crazy Pizza alla Nutella, but family activities like balloon animals and face paint for kiddos. Brunch will be served from noon to 4pm.
