A small 2.3-magnitude earthquake has been reported in Upstate New York’s Westchester County Tuesday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The quake’s epicenter stems from Sleepy Hollow, New York at approximately 10: 17 am when it was recorded.
According to USGS data, the location was approximately:
- 0.8 km (0.5 mi) west of Sleepy Hollow, New York
- 1.2 km (0.7 mi) northwest of Tarrytown, New York
- 6.1 km (3.8 mi) north‑northwest of Greenburgh, New York
- 7.8 km (4.8 mi) north of Dobbs Ferry, New York
- 121.5 km (75.3 mi) northeast of Trenton, New Jersey
