Unlike most of NYC’s food trends (think Spaghetti Donuts or pizza served in a box made of pizza), this one might be our favorite for summer.

The limited time item has returned each summer since 2017, and is made out of a huge slice of watermelon with the center carved out of it and filled with a homemade watermelon soft-serve (and pieces of chocolate to imitate the watermelon seeds).
It was originally created for the bakery’s Tokyo location in celebration of its second year anniversary. However, for was brought to NYC in 2017 for the Fourth of July holiday weekend.
This time around, you can snag one of these mouthwatering slices of ice cream-stuffed watermelon through Sunday, August 30! Hours are 8am-8pm Friday-Saturday and 9am-7pm Sunday at their Soho location at 189 Spring St.
