Forget the ornaments, NYC’s grooviest Christmas tree is completely made of disco balls!
The city is decorated with tons of festive trees this year from the most notable Rockefeller Center Christmas tree to a 12-foot spruce towering over Fifth Avenue. And yet, we may have stumbled upon the most unique tree yet!
Decorating the Public Hotel’s Chrystie Park garden is a shining Christmas tree decked out with hundreds of disco balls. The tree tops out at 20-feet tall and is a beautiful reflection of the city’s holiday spirit.
According to Argon Props Fabrication, the company responsible for building the tree, approximately 500 disco balls were used in the making.
At night the tree bathes the garden in a glittering light for a holiday spectacle you simply can’t miss.
You can find this breathtaking tree at the Public Hotel on Chrystie Street. And while you’re in the area, you might as well stop into Loreley Beer Garden’s winter wonderland for a festive cocktail or two!
