With Valentine’s Day less than a month away, now is the time to start brainstorming restaurant ideas. This year, look no further than this luxury Dining in the Dark experience and wine pairing at Club 75 in Midtown West. Hosted in a luxury space with a premium menu curated by a Michelin-trained chef, this sensory-filled Valentine’s Day special checks all the boxes.
Wondering what the appeal is of Dining in the Dark? Along with the sheer element of surprise, studies show that 80% of people eat with their eyes. By eliminating that sense using blindfolds, your remaining senses will take over to completely transform and enhance your culinary experience.
Supported by psychologists as an “amplified” way to enjoy food, this blindfolded dining event is not one to miss, particularly with its specially curated menu by the incredible Chef Fernanda Peimbert. Before becoming a private chef in NYC, Fernanda Peimbert studied at the California Culinary Arts Institute and worked at several renowned Michelin star restaurants across the globe. Her cuisine focuses primarily on seasonal Latin-inspired dishes.
The event’s location at a luxury space orchestrated by Resident, an experiential dining concept, further elevates the fine-dining experience.
Upon arrival, all guests will receive their own blindfold (disposable for safety purposes, of course) to elevate their remaining senses. Once blindfolded, guests will be led into the darkened restaurant by a “guide” who will walk them through the specialty three-course meal and wine pairing. The mystery menu created exclusively for this premium experience by Chef Fernanda Peimbert will be revealed at the end of the night!
Tickets for this high-end Valentine’s Day special are $220 and guests can choose between a 6:30 pm and 7:30 pm reservation. After your purchase, there will be an option to specify any food allergies or restrictions if needed.
