You’ve heard of window shoppers. But around Christmas time, a new breed of shoppers suddenly appears: Window-display-jaw-droppers. In attempt to lure you in à la Venus fly trap, NYC’s retailers transform their windows from functional displays to works of art. Some of the windows are so good, even the Grinch has to stop and stare. It won’t be long before the official unveiling ceremonies take place outside of heavy-hitters like Henri Bendel, Saks Fifth Avenue and Macy’s. Some displays will be presented by celebrity guests and musicians like Reese Witherspoon and Daya. Here are the dates to catch the unveiling of the best of these ornate, beautiful displays.
