2. Chapel Bar, Flatiron
Auch wenn man Mitglied des Fotomuseums Fotografiska oder des Arbeits- und Sozialclubs NeueHouse sein muss, um diese Bar zu besuchen, ist sie ein erstaunlicher historischer Ort, den man nicht verpassen sollte. Die Chapel Bar, die als Treffpunkt für die kulturellen Vorreiter von NYC gedacht war, geht auf das Jahr 1867 zurück, als sie noch als „Renwick Gem“ Schoolhouse bekannt war. Sie wurde ursprünglich von James Renwick Jr. erbaut, dem Architekten, der auch die St. Patrick’s Cathedral entworfen hat. 4. Oscar Wilde, NoMad
Das Oscar Wilde ist bekannt für seine überbordende Feiertagsdekoration ( hier sehen Sie es zu Weihnachten und hier zu Halloween), sieht aber auch an einem normalen Tag wunderschön aus! In einem New Yorker Gebäude aus der Zeit um 1900, das unzählige einzigartige Artefakte wie einen französischen Kamin aus den 1840er Jahren und nicht weniger als 26 antike Uhren beherbergt, sollten Sie sich diesen von dem temperamentvollen irischen Dramatiker inspirierten Ort nicht entgehen lassen. Sie können sogar mit einem Pint neben einer bronzenen Nachbildung von Wilde selbst Platz nehmen!

5. Nubeluz, NoMad
Diese protzige Rooftop-Bar ist die Idee von José Andrés und befindet sich im 50. Stockwerk des The Ritz-Carlton in NoMad. Sie ist als „Leuchtkasten im Himmel“ gedacht… und genau das ist sie auch, mit reflektierenden Oberflächen, verstärkter Beleuchtung, opulenten Textilien, zwei Außenterrassen und 270-Grad-Blick auf die Stadtlandschaft. Der Swan Room ist ein protziger Bankschalterraum, der in eine Bar umgewandelt wurde. Die gewölbte Decke, die luxuriösen Stühle und die rosafarbenen Tennessee-Marmorwände vermitteln ein Gefühl wie in alten Zeiten. 9. Die Bar im Baccarat Hotel, Midtown

Wenn Sie in der Gegend sind, sollten Sie unbedingt auf einen Drink vorbeischauen und die Aussicht genießen. Es ist wirklich atemberaubend, und es finden oft saisonale Pop-up-Aktivitäten statt. Obwohl man in diesem französischen Restaurant des renommierten Pariser Küchenchefs Daniel Rose nicht direkt an der Bar Platz nehmen kann, mussten wir es trotzdem aufnehmen, denn es ist einfach umwerfend.
