1. Montauk Point Leuchtturm

2. Fire Island-Leuchtturm
Der Fire Island Lighthouse stammt aus dem Jahr 1858 und ist nach wie vor einer der traditionsreichsten Leuchttürme im Osten. Er diente um die Jahrhundertwende als wichtiges maritimes Wahrzeichen für transatlantische Schiffe, die in den New Yorker Hafen einliefen, und war ein willkommener Blickfang für viele europäische Einwanderer. 3. Huntington Harbor Leuchtturm
Der Huntington Harbor Lighthouse wurde 1912 erbaut, nur wenige Jahre nachdem er einen früheren Leuchtturm ersetzt hatte, der Schiffen half , den Lloyd Harbor im manchmal tückischen Long Island Sound zu navigieren. Fahren Sie nach Norden zwischen den Städten Hudson und Athens, um diesen wunderbaren Leuchtturm zu finden, der 1874 erbaut wurde. Der Little Red Lighthouse ist einer der wenigen Leuchttürme, die sich tatsächlich innerhalb der Grenzen von New York City befinden! Seinen Spitznamen verdankt er dem Kinderbuchklassiker „Der kleine rote Leuchtturm und die große graue Brücke“ von Hildegarde H. Swift aus dem Jahr 1942. 8. Execution Rocks Leuchtturm
