A popular dating app is is saying forget the furry friends and four paws and instead opening a shelter for…boyfriends. RAW is launching a Valentine’s campaign dubbed Adopt the Boyfriend, where eligible bachelors get matched with women ready to skip endless swiping and meet in real life. Yes, it sounds insane. No, we’re not kidding.
Raw searched within the app for the hottest, most eligible bachelors all waiting for the right girl to take them home. Think: incredible boys, each in their own booth, hand-picked and pre-vetted by the dating app–and they’re all hoping you’ll choose them.
The campaign starts in-app but quickly moves offline.
Just like at your typical animal shelter, you’re invited to “walk through,” meet the boys, and see if you feel any sparks! Users will receive a curated lineup of standout singles and choose who’s worth taking home. Each bachelor comes with his own adoption-style profile card, such as “Athletic Golden Retriever,” or “Software Engineer — Slightly Feral.” You get the gist.
It’s not quite speed dating and not quite a dating show–it’s more like The Bachelor meets puppy adoption.
Selected bachelors and their matches are then invited to hosted date nights at some of the NYC’s most social venues, with structured matchmaking designed to spark real conversations–not just chats that fade out.
The idea is to make dating feel social again–less chatting, more meeting IRL–and give singles a reason to show up, not just log in.
Men can apply directly through RAW to be included in the featured bachelor roster. Those selected receive highlighted visibility and priority access to upcoming matchmaking events. Entry is free but spots are limited.
