
February is set to be a massive month for the film industry-with a handful of cinema awards coming up including the SAG Awards, PGA Awards, and of course the 30th annual Critics Choice Awards.
The Critics Choice Association has released their nominations for the best film and television nominees for this year’s ceremony. To no surprise, two of the year’s hottest titles Conclave and Wicked led the way with 11 nominatoins each, including Best Picture.
Right behind them are Dune: Part Two and Emilia Pérez followed with 10 noms, while The Brutalist scored 9 nods.
“This year brought us an incredible wealth of storytelling and performances, leading to indescribably close races for nominations,” said CCA CEO Joey Berlin in a press release. “We are honored to be able to celebrate our landmark 30th year of the Critics Choice Awards with this talented group of nominees and are thrilled to bring viewers our best show yet.”
This year’s annual Critics Choice Awards will hosted by Chelsea Handler, broadcasted live on E! on February 7th at 7 pm, and streaming the next day on Peacock.
