Never before have we seen someone go from eight-year waiter to national heartthrob at record speed–but that’s exactly the Connor Storrie trajectory. And now? He’s headed to Studio 8H.
The Heated Rivalry breakout star recently touched down in New York City looking very Ilya Rozanov-coded–wide-leg jeans, black leather jacket, oversized headphones; the whole brooding hockey romance starter pack. And this weekend, he officially adds “Saturday Night Live host” to his rapidly expanding resumé.
Connor Storrie’s SNL Debut Date
Storrie will make his SNL debut on Saturday, February 28 at 11:30 pm on NBC.
The announcement dropped via a joint Instagram post with SNL, and naturally, Heated Rivalry co-star Hudson Williams stole the comment section with: “MY BABY BOY ON SNL WHOOOOOO!!!! 😍”
Since his breakout role in the hockey romance sensation, Storrie has been booked and busy–landing a Cultured Magazine cover, booking major editorial shoots, popping up at the Golden Globes, and even carrying the Olympic Torch. Talk about main character energy.
He’ll be joined by musical guests Mumford & Sons, and considering this season of SNL has already delivered a few surprise cameos, we wouldn’t exactly rule out a cheeky Hudson Williams appearance. Manifesting accordingly…
What’s Next for Connor Storrie?
If you’re already counting down to more Heated Rivalry, you’re in luck. Storrie and Williams have officially signed on for Season 2, which is expected to begin filming this summer (likely July or August) with a premiere slated for early 2027.
Yes, waiting that long feels criminal. But at least we have this weekend…and something else to hold us over.
On March 14, 2026, Harry Styles will pull double duty as both Host and Musical Guest on Saturday Night Live, marking his second time doing the two-for-one special and his seventh appearance overall on the Studio 8H stage. (You know that episode is about to break the internet.) More on this here.
