Staten Island native and Saturday Night Live star Colin Jost is teaming up with Blue Moon for their first-ever celebrity partnership—and to celebrate, he’s buying drinks for New Yorkers at some of his favorite Staten Island bars tonight, June 24, starting at 6 pm. 🍻
The campaign, titled Nothing Outshines a Blue Moon, is part of the brand’s larger Made Brighter platform, and features Jost not only starring in the ads—but helping create them.
He collaborated with his production company, No Notes, and the team at adam&eveDDB to craft a series of quirky, citrus-fueled spots that bring Blue Moon’s iconic orange garnish to life. Yes, literally.
The first commercial, “Orange & Son,” sees Jost in conversation with a pair of talking oranges—because why not? The second, “Zoom In,” proves that even with a comedian at the center, the beer still steals the show.
But while the ads are hilarious, it’s what’s happening in real life that NYC beer lovers will care about most: Colin Jost and Blue Moon are picking up the tab at select Staten Island bars tonight, and even hinting that Colin might swing by one of them in person to add a little garnish of humor to the evening.
