No, your eyes aren’t playing tricks on you: there’s an exclusive Coldplay free concert that’s headed our way in October.
The iconic rock band is celebrating a milestone: its 10th studio album Moon Music, which will release on October 4. Several days later, the group plans to ring in the occasion in Brooklyn.
On Monday, October 7, the band will perform for free at 5pm at the Music Hall of Williamsburg for Sirius XM. If you’re dying to hear the new tracks — and if the group is a familiar artist on your playlists — you’ll have to get a spot. But there is a catch.
How to get tickets to the free Coldplay concert
If you’re a Sirius XM subscriber, you’re in luck. All you have to do is fill out an application — which will include your name, address, and contact info — for a chance to be considered. But again, this offer is available to Sirius subscribers (September 10, 2024 and prior) only.
Make sure to fill in your details by September 29th at midnight for a chance to secure your spot.
If you’re not on the east coast but a Sirius subscriber, there’s still a reason to hold out hope. A grand-prize winner will receive two round-trip tickets and hotel accommodations to catch the show. All those entering must be U.S. citizens and at least 18 years old. A full list of sweepstake rules is available on the Sirius website.
NYC is certainly no stranger to events like this: remember Justin Timberlake and Dua Lipa’s free shows?
Where does Coldplay rank in your free concert wishlist?
Keep your eyes peeled for the winners at the end of the month, when a random drawing determines fans’ status. Cheers to scoring a spot in Williamsburg next month. We are rooting for you!
SiriusXM listeners can find Coldplay Radio on satellite channel 17 from October 1st–14th and on the SiriusXM app from October 1st–30th.
