If you’re a New Yorker, you probably start your day with a steaming cup of coffee. If you’re looking for a delicious new brew to perk you up in the morning, head to the Metropolitan Pavilion on May 13th and check out CoffeeCon.
CoffeeCon will feature forty vendors showing off their unique brews. There will be plenty of local favorites like Toby’s Estate, Blue Bottle Coffee, Birch Coffee, and Café Grumpy. There will also be vendors offering samples of famous international brands, like Illy. You’ll get to taste-test many of these company’s delicious drinks on the exhibitor floor.
There will also be classes held throughout the day. These workshops will teach you everything from the basics of making espresso to proper coffee bean grinding technique. Plus, you can also learn how to make incredible latte art from an expert, a skill that will definitely impress your friends when you make them coffee in your apartment. If you stick around to the end of the day, you can enter a drawing to win some great coffee-related prizes, including grinders and brewers. CoffeeCon will be held at the Metropolitan Pavilion on May 13th from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Tickets to CoffeeCon are $15 online and $20 at the door. This price includes access to the exhibitor floor and twenty classes. For $45, you can also get access to a special tasting seminar.
