
On April 26th only, pay homage to Earth Month by attending Climate Arts Fest for a special celebration highlighting the environment and sustainability! Tickets are currently available for this very special experience, which is happening for one day only.
It’s fun and affordable for families, and it offers hands-on activities, music, performances, tours, demonstrations, and more! Learn about how you can contribute to environmental groups and organizations onsite that are working to make a difference.
In addition to enjoying the 39-acres of the botanical gardens, Explore how to live more sustainably with workshops by Zero Waste NYC. Farm and compost tours and activities are also part of the day’s events!
For theater fans, “Destination: Nature” is a Broken Box Mime Theater performance. You can also enjoy food and drinks, check out a vendor fair, and collaborate on an art installation with John Kaiser.
Dance to the samba and reggae tunes of the Fogo Azul drumline and marching band, who will be parading through the garden. Sing along to Spanish and English songs by Musiquita. Groove to reggae and dub classics with DJ Tommy Sparks.
There’s no better way to spend this special day than at Queens Botanical Garden (located at 43-50 Main St.) in Flushing, accessible by the 7 train.
Children 3 years old and under and members of Queens of the Botanical Garden get in for free. General adult admission is $6 and children ages 4-12 get a $2 admission. Students, veterans and seniors get a discount admission at $4.
