Chelsea Market has just opened the largest stretch of outdoor dining space in Manhattan.
With over 115 socially distanced tables over 1,000 feet of street space on 15th and 16th Streets, over 200 guests can now enjoy Chelsea Market again – safely. To maintain distance between visiting guests, they’ve added six-foot circles on the street and sidewalk, and will have health ambassadors distributing complimentary masks.
To fully enjoy the marketplace, you’ll find their scannable “Mobile Directory” onsite listing menus as well as any other for-sale items from Chelsea Market’s various retailers and restaurants. Just scan the QR codes at your table or from vendor signage!

Jamestown President Michael Phillips said in a statement,
“Chelsea Market is an essential neighborhood anchor for the west side community. And while many of our shops and restaurants have been providing takeout and delivery service these past few months, the vibrancy of the marketplace has been greatly missed by the larger neighborhood. By moving the market outdoors and creating a new gathering place on the west side, we will be able to safely bring back the energetic atmosphere that makes Chelsea Market so special, and help New Yorkers connect with the city and each other once again.”
We can’t wait to explore the outdoor marketplace!
