It’s starting to feel a lot like Christmas in the city and we love it! This week, ice-sculptors from “Okamoto Studio” relieved their work in Grace Plaza in Midtown (6th Avenue, between 42nd and 43rd Street).
These amazing ice sculptures show a variety of safari animals like zebras, tigers, and gazelles, and were carved over the last two days in front of a live audience.
Don’t worry if you missed the live sculpting, the creations are still on display. The truth is, you’ll have to be quick if you want to see them, their lifespan will be increased by the polar vortex passing through NYC, but they wont last forever.
