We aren’t short of summer festivals in NYC, but only one boasts a large mix of musical performances, talks from people across all industries and walks of life, art displays, and plenty of delicious eats— Ozy Fest.
June may have been Music Month, but July is all about Ozy Fest! Event Co-founder, Carlos Watson, once told NY Daily News in an interview that the festival was more of a “TED meets Coachella,” and we’re definitely getting those vibes. The event is in its third year and due to its success in the past they’ve expanded it to run for two days: July 21 and July 22.
Headliners this year will feature big names like Hilary Clinton, Passion Pit and World Series champ, Alex Rodriguez. Other big celebs that will be speaking or performing include Common, Marth Stewart, Chelsea Handler, Hasan Minhaj, Young the Giant, Laverne Cox, and countless more.
With such a long list of A-listers attending, Ozy Fest is sure to be a sellout. Tickets are selling for $55 on Sunday for an individual ticket, $75 for Saturday’s individual ticket, or $98 for a two-day pass. Here’s a look at some of the highlights from 2017, as well as the current lineup for each day (although more will be announced as the date nears):
