Possibly the biggest snow storm of 2021 has descended upon NYC, with up to 18 inches possible. [featured image source: Instagram / @newyorkcity4all]
As of this morning, over five inches of snow have already been recorded in Central Park, according the the National Weather Service.
Coney Island is also already up to six inches.

The snow is set to continue all day and even through tomorrow, with the possibility of 1-3 inches descending every hour. Winds will be very high as well, with gusts up to 40 mph.
Non-essential travel has been banned in NYC, as per Mayor de Blasio, and New Yorkers are encouraged to stay indoors.
