The 2026 NFL Playoffs bracket is officially set, and many of New Yorkers’ favorite team —the Buffalo Bills—are ready to play their first matchup THIS weekend (Sunday, January 11th at 1 pm ET) against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The first round, AFC Wild Card Playoff matchup, will see a duel between some of the NFL’s most elite quarterbacks, the Jaguars’ Trevor Lawerence and of course the Bills’ beloved star Josh Allen.
Should they win (knock on wood) they would then go on and play the winner of the Los Angeles Chargers vs New England the following weekend.
However, as the hype to this weekend’s NFL matchups continues to bloom, a pair of Buffalo Bills starts have taken the intensity out of this week’s wait by revealing their favorite Upstate NY food spots, mainly around their team’s hometown of Buffalo and the Greater Niagara area.
A huge topic of debate in Western New York, where Buffalo wings themselves were created back in 1964, the bickering continues to roll on about who has the best wings and overall food in the Buffalo area.
Star Bills players Josh Allen (quarterback) and Dion Dawkins (lineman) have entered the conversation on the matter, declaring their favorite spots to fuel up from gameday— from places near the soon-to-be-demolished Highmark Stadium to hidden gems nested along Western NY’s charming small towns.
Take a look below and let us know what you think the best food spots are in Western NY.
