Bryant Park is getting its first spring market this year, Makers Market, and it’s set to open next weekend.
The new spring market will feature over 100 vendors put together by none other than Urbanspace. It’ll only be open on weekends during the month of May, but will host plenty of local artists and food vendors—think holiday markets, but in spring!
As their announcement states: “You’ll find a diverse mix of original art, antique collectibles and cuisines from local small businesses you won’t be able to find anywhere else.”
Makers Market will open on Mother’s Day weekend, which is perfect for those looking to grab any any last minute gifts for mom. Among some of the vendors will be New York-based artist, Edie Art; local paper collage artist, Black Lamb BK; watercolor artist, Tatiana Poblah; and temporary tattoo designer, the feminist tat pack. As for the food, expect to find the egg waffle and ice cream favorite, Wowfulls; Perros y Vainas Venezuelan hot dogs; and refreshing lemonade by Renegade Lemonade, among many others.
The artisinal space will be situated between Library Terraces and Bryant Park Fountain beginning on Friday, May 10, and running until Sunday, June 2.
