Venture to Italy with some vibrant vino in NYC this June!
Forget about an 8+ hour flight when you can bring the Italian countryside to you! For the first time ever, Brunello Week is coming to NYC for a one-week-only event full of flavor, body, and yes…tons of wine.
The event, taking place June 14-20, will highlight the delightful Brunello di Montalcino and Rosso di Montalcino wines. Both will be offered at approximately 40 restaurants across Manhattan and Brooklyn.
“Our goal is not only to celebrate the wines but also to lend a helping hand to an industry that has deeply suffered from the COVID-19 pandemic crisis,” said Fabrizio Bindocci, the president of the Tuscan Consorzio.
The two Italian wines are made across 56 wineries in the gorgeous town of Montalcino. They are best enjoyed after a long aging process of 1-5 years but Brunello Week is giving New Yorkers the rare opportunity to savor them in just 7 days!
Guests will feel as though they’ve been transported to Tuscany as each location will offer special tasting and wine-pairing menus. Try the harmonious body of Brunello di Montalcino that is best complemented with a meal, and don’t forget to have some Rosso di Montalcino as an aperitivo beforehand like a true Italian!
Some participating restaurants include Eataly Flatiron/Downtown, Cacio E Vino, Sola Pasta Bar, Babbo Ristorante, Marea, Osteria Morini, and many more!
Brunello Week will begin Monday, June 14 and go through Sunday, June 20.
