Through September 1, escape the heat at the nautical oasis, Portside. Complete with a full schedule of summer programming, the al fresco lounge is right on the waterfront with stunning sunset views, craveable cocktails, and tasty bites. Situated right next to the North Cove Marina, the open-air destination is one of the best places to kick off the season in style.

Live Music
Brookfield Place is the place for live music during the summer, kicking off with Pride Concerts at Portside on June 4 and 25. Featuring notable musicians and DJs such as Oscar Nñ, J. Hoard, and others, these free performances on the waterfront terrace celebrate love and self-expression.
Following Brookfield Place’s Pride Concerts, the urban oasis will host Sound Waves: A DJ Series on Wednesdays, July 9 through 30. With a rotating selection of talented DJs such as Bembona and DJ Tres Dos, each week brings new upbeat rhythms during both lunchtime and evening sessions.
Literary Series
Looking to cultivate community through meaningful conversations? Brookfield Place’s newest event, Beyond The Pages: A Literary Series, presents an opportunity to meet influencers and published authors, connect with fellow readers, and even receive free books! Pickleball
It’s safe to say that the pickleball craze is here to stay! From June 3 to 12, Brookfield Place will become home to two of the most scenic courts in the city. The free pop-up pickleball courts are available via online registration or on a walk-up, first-come, first-served basis, as space allows. All equipment is provided, making the beloved activity more accessible than ever.
Public Art
Through September 1, Brookfield Place visitors can admire and engage with a vivid new outdoor installation by artist Risa Puno, Common Picnic: Halo-Halo Edition. Drawing inspiration from the Filipino dessert halo-halo, a vibrant fusion of flavors and cultures, Puno’s colorful, interconnected picnic tables playfully celebrate community and connection. A nod to urban life’s shared spaces, the interactive installation invites visitors to lounge, gather, and play.
Wine Tasting
For the wine enthusiasts, BFPL Vineyard presents the opportunity for an exclusive sunset wine tasting. Complete with light bites and a curated selection of wines, the limited-time sessions will take place on July 15. Whether you’re planning a happy hour with co-workers or an evening with friends, the ticketed event is one of the best ways to soak up NYC’s gorgeous summer nights.
