NYC was hit with almost 18 inches of snow this week, and all kinds of New Yorkers are enjoying it…
Not only are people having a ball (literally…have you seen the giant snowball fight that broke out in Washington Square Park??), but so are the animals!
The Bronx Zoo (and visitors) have shared some heartwarming photos and videos of the animals enjoying the fresh layer of snow on the ground, though perhaps none are quite as cute as the National Zoo’s giant pandas in D.C. (though the tigers come pretty close)!
The Zoo actually reopened today (Feb. 4) after being closed due to the snowstorm, so you can see these amazing creatures react to the weather in person! Grab tickets here. But in the meantime…
First, we have to take a few moments to just look at this beautiful, adorable tiger rolling around in the fluffy snow.
So cute!
The bison also seemed to have a great time frolicking around…

Here are some red-crowned cranes in the fresh snow…
The sea lions also seem right at home (scroll through to see videos)!
And don’t forget the brown bears!
You can also try to catch a glimpse on their Live Cams on their website.
If you want to visit in person before the snow melts, get tickets here!
