Broadway Week is officially next week from January 21 through February 9, but some tickets already started going on sale January 8! This is a time when you can score amazingly cheap Broadway tickets for half the normal price.
Broadway Week happens twice a year, in the winter and in the spring. This year’s winter deal is taking place next week from Tuesday, January 21 through Sunday, February 9 (yes, it is actually longer than just one week, and some tickets started going on sale last week). It has been going on since 2011 and is put on by NYC & Company and the Broadway League to help boost ticket sales and the local theater economy.
During Broadway Week, you get 50% off each individual Broadway show ticket. There is a two ticket minimum, so make sure you plan with friends!
There are 21 shows that are part of the Broadway Week deal this year: Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Frozen, Wicked, Mean Girls, Come From Away, To Kill a Mockingbird, Beetlejuice, Chicago, Jagged Little Pill, The Phantom of the Opera, Aladdin, Ain’t Too Proud—The Life and Times of the Temptations, Girl from the North Country, Grand Horizons, The Inheritance, My Name is Lucy Barton, and A Soldier’s Play.
The Book of Mormon, Dear Evan Hansen, The Lion King, and West Side Story were all part of it, but those have already sold out. So we recommend getting on this deal as early as possible! The 50% discount will be automatically applied when you purchase tickets through the NYC Go website here.
