Broadway Week typically happens twice a year, and it’s taking place again beginning today, Tuesday, January 17 through Sunday, February 12 (yes, it is actually longer than just one week). It has been going on since 2011 and is put on by NYC & Company and the Broadway League to help boost ticket sales and the local theater economy.
During Broadway Week, you get access to their signature deal: 2-for-1 tickets to some of the best musicals and plays currently on stage. Tickets are available to purchase now, and any time during this “week” is when you can see the show! There is a two ticket minimum, so make sure you plan with friends!
There are 22 shows that are part of the Broadway Week deal this time:
- Six
- The Book of Mormon
- Moulin Rouge! The Musical
- Funny Girl
- Hadestown
- The Collaboration
- Pictures from Home
- & Juliet
- Kimberly Akimbo
- MJ
- Aladdin
- The Lion King
- Hamilton
- The Piano Lesson
- Leopoldstadt
- Wicked
- Chicago
- Some Like It Hot
- A Beautiful Noise
- The Neil Diamond Musical, Take Me Out
- Harry Potter and the Cursed Child
- Between Riverside and Crazy.
We recommend getting on this deal as early as possible because the shows tend to sell out quickly! The 50% discount will be automatically applied when you purchase tickets through the NYC Go website here.
