The team behind the popular Caribbean restaurant, Suede will soon bring a more club-like vibe to their new restaurant in Prospect-Lefferts Gardens, Caribbean Social.
Set to open on December 1, the bi-level space will be distinctly different on each floor—one will be the dining room area while the other (upstairs) will be a lounge called The Christophe.

According to Eater, restaurant owner Chasen Hollacind wants to appeal to a younger crowd by creating a more clubby atmosphere at the new location. At the bar you’ll find over 100 Caribbean rum flavors, and in the kitchen you’ll find former Miss Lily’s chef, Gary Lewis. He is the mastermind behind the restaurant’s Caribbean dishes such as red wine oxtail, jerk chicken and parmesan herb biscuits, and breadfruit poppers.

The area has several other Caribbean restaurants and has acquired the title of being Little Caribbean.
