Here in NYC, there are a bunch of restaurants serving one-of-a-kind Christmas menus that will have you feeling full and jolly. Since there’s a few weeks before the big holiday, we’ve hand selected a few spots for you…so you can get a reservation in now! These are our favorite restaurants open on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day (and their specialty food options):
1. The Standard, East Village

Enjoy a Christmas Eve meal at Partridge, a brand new pop-up happening this holiday season at The Standard East Village! The installation includes brand new holiday fun and flair on the menu, full of favorites like oysters, fondue, seasonal cocktails and more! 2. Baccarat Hotel New York, Midtown

Baccarat Hotel New York will be serving a festive three course prix-fix menu this year for $175 per person on both Christmas Eve and Day. The talk of the meal though? The dessert! Their Christmas yule logs are the perfect sweet treat to finish your decadent meal (pictured above)! 3. The Mark Chalet by Jean-Georges, Upper East Side

Enjoy a one-of-a-kind fondue experience on Christmas Eve or Day at the brand new chalet at The Mark Hotel! Bringing the spirit of the Alps to the Upper East side, you can feast of Alpine inspired delicacies like Swiss Fondue, Slow Baked Arctic Char, Veal Zurichoise with Spätzle, and Mont Blanc. 4. Musket Room, Nolita

What could be a better Christmas Eve gift than indulging in a 7 course holiday tasting menu? For $165 per person, you’ll get a tasting of some of the finest seafood, inspired by the staff’s family traditions. You can expect dishes like Razor Clam Oreganata (pictured above), Pickled Herring on Caraway Rye Cracker from Exec. Chef Mary Attea, and the “Partridge in a Pear Tree” tart from Pastry Chef Camari Mick. Full menu here.

5. Stella 34 Trattoria, Herald Square

Have breakfast with Santa Claus at Stella 34 Trattoria in Herald Square! Located inside the iconic Macy’s store, you can enjoy a delightful Italian breakfast while dining with the jolly man himself. 6. Daniel, Upper East Side

At a steep $475 per person, this is probably the fanciest Christmas Eve dinner you’ll find in NYC. The five course meal features the likes of Upstate New York Foie Gras Terrine, Dover Sole, and Bûche De Noël that is out of this world. Book a spot here.

7. The Mark Restaurant by Jean-Georges, Upper East Side

The Mark Restaurant by Jean–Georges is serving up a 3 course menu for $218 per person this year. The prix fix selection includes appetizers like Tuna Tartare, entrees like Maine Lobster, and desserts (our personal favorite) like the Butterscotch Pudding with Crème Fraîche, Caramel and Sea Salt (pictured above). 8. AperiBar, Midtown West

This chic Italian restaurant/cocktail bar is throwing down a Feast of Seven Fishes on Christmas Eve for $95 per person! Complete with a wine pairing, guests can enjoy three different courses of seafood ranging from scallops to shrimp to lobster! Since it’s also a cocktail bar, we suggest grabbing one (or a few) of their holiday specialties while you enjoy your meal (pictured above).

9. Huda, Williamsburg

This brand new Middle Eastern restaurant in Brooklyn brings Levantine culture and cuisine to the next level! Inspired by owner Gehad Hadidi’s Syrian-American heritage, and his grandmother’s home cooking, Huda will be serving a special Christmas Eve pre-fixe dinner featuring Holiday Labneh, Tabbouleh, Warak Enab, Roasted Eggplant, Tamarind Braised Pumpkin, Stuffed Cornish Hen, and Meghleh in Phyllo. 10. BLACKBARN Restaurant, NoMad

BLACKBARN is a farm-to-table, American restaurant in NoMad offering both a la carte and pre-fixe options to diners on Christmas Eve. Nibble on a la carte options like Olive Oil Braised Octopus and Herb Crusted Cod…or take on a $110 deal that includes Wild Mushroom Toast, Shrimp Mousseline, Eggnog Cheesecake, and much more. 11. The Press Club Grill, Midtown

Midtown’s The Press Club Grill will be serving a prix fixe dinner on Christmas Eve and prix fixe lunch/dinner on Christmas Day this year. The menu will run you $89 per person, and features Continental cuisine like Manhattan Style Lobster “Chowder,” Roast Long Island Duck, Glazed Pork Loin Chop, Egg Nog Crème Brulée, and more! 12. Delmonico’s, FiDi

Legendary steakhouse Delmonico’s is finally back open again, and this Christmas Eve and Day, they’ll be serving a 3 course menu on both days from 2 pm – 10pm for $145 per person. Dinner options include menu favorites like Yellowtail Crudo (avocado, walnut, crispy pearls, seasoned shoe, shiso), Eye of Delmonico steak (12oz Brandt Family Farms, CA), and of course Baked Alaska. 13. Quality Bistro, Midtown

This European-style brasserie in Midtown will be open both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, serving bites from their French-inspired menu full of table-side prepared dishes, inventive twists on French cocktails, and an extensive wine list. See the menu and reserve a spot here.

14. Avra Rockefeller Center, Midtown

This Greek outpost in Rockefeller Center will be open both Christmas Eve and Day, and is only steps away from the famous Rockefeller Center Tree! Their menu of seafood, caviar, and meats is the perfect range to be able to hit any price point you want. See the full menu and reserve a table here.

If you’re looking for a gorgeous restaurant with Christmas decor and decadent food, we recommend Le Pavillon on Christmas Eve. Although this 3 course prix fix is on the more expensive side ($245/person), it’s worth it for the mouthwatering French dishes you’re served. Reserve your spot here.
