Queens Botanical Garden will be hosting an outdoor pumpkin patch on select days this October, where New Yorkers can go and choose their own pumpkins to take home!
Of course there will be U-pick pumpkins, harvest-themed photo opportunities, friendly costumed characters roaming the farm, and even a cash bar with beers, ciders, seasonal cocktails, and N/A drinks for adults!
The outdoor Pumpkin Patch at Queens Botanical Garden will be open on October 12-13, 19-20, and 26!
Tickets start at $12 for non-member adults and $14 for children (with a pumpkin included).
QBG is also hosting a one-day-only Halloween event as well, which includes a fun trick-or-treat trail, live performances, arts and crafts, plus more!

Queens County Farm Museum

Queens County Farm Museum will open up its pumpkin patch to the public once again this October, which will be open daily throughout the month!
New Yorkers can stroll through the 47-acre grounds and choose our gourds that suit their hearts, all while taking in the history one of the longest continuously farmed sites in New York State (which dates back to 1697).
Pumpkins are priced by size and no reservation is required but remember to bring your own bag.
The pumpkin patch is open from 1 – 4 pm on weekdays and 10 am – 4 pm on weekends, daily throughout October.
While on the grounds, we highly suggesting taking a walk through the Amazing Maize Maze, NYC’s iconic “three-acre living labyrinth.”
Greg’s Great Pumpkin Patch

Greg’s Great Pumpkin Patch in Park Slope’s Greenwood Park returns this October with plenty of festive activities and pumpkins.
Expect “everything from hay to z”—including sugar pumpkins. cinderella pumpkins, carved pumpkins, Long Island cheese pumpkins, fancy gourds, Instagrammable photo-ops, and so much more.
It opens for the season on October 1st, and there will even be a doggie costume contest on October 12th.

Source / Historic Richmond Town Decker Farm is the best pumpkin patch on Staten Island (in our humble opinion), and it will be back opening for pumpkin picking starting the first Saturday in October.
The early-1800s farm has a lovely pumpkin patch, plus classic hayrides, fall food, and so much more!
It will be open on October weekends from 12 – 5 pm! Tickets start at $12 for adults and $7 for kids online, or you can get tickets in-person at the farm.

Fishkill Farms in Hopewell Junction, NY is back for 2025 with its popular pumpkin patch and fall festivities, offering a true farm-to-table experience amid gorgeous Hudson Valley scenery!

Happy Day Farm in Manalapan, New Jersey is a 20-acre fall paradise where there’s over 35 attractions, an amazing pumpkin patch, and a renowned Fall Festival that happens annually.
This year’s fall festival runs from September 13th – November 2nd, and includes all sorts of activities including pumpkin picking, both Lainey Wilson and U.S. Army’s 250th Anniversary corn mazes, tractor rides, flower picking, animal zoos, and so much more.
It’s happening now and tickets for Monday, Wednesday, and Thursdays are $22 cash in-person, and weekends are $28 sold online only.
If you want to just pumpkin (no activities), it’s free admission and you just pay what you pick.

Once you enter, you’ll pay a flat rate of $13 per pumpkin you pick, and there’s also a playground and hayrides happening Thursday – Sunday.
To visit, you must make a reservation to go pumpkin picking, and you can’t purchase tickets on-site…so book ahead!
There’s also the “largest Halloween light show in New Jersey” coming to the farm as well from September 27th – October 31st.
