Best Places to Watch the Mayweather vs. McGregor Fight

For months now the country has been anticipating the biggest fight in combat sports history, and the big night is quickly approaching.  On Saturday, watch Connor  McGregor (who holds two UFC world title belts) enter the boxing ring for the first time in his professional career to go head-to-head against this generation’s best boxer, Floyd Mayweather Jr. You can watch all the epic moments of this fight unfold in front of you from the screens at any of these lively bars.

Milk River

When: Saturday, Aug. 26 from 7pm-1am

Where: 960 Atlantic Avenue

At the Milk Bar Restaurant and Lounge you’ll be able to see the entire event from one of the 15 large HD TVs lining the two-floor venue. Once inside you can eat, drink, dance, and watch the fight. The party won’t stop until 1am. More info here.

Wicked Willy’s

When: Saturday, Aug. 26 from 8pm-4am

Where: 149 Bleecker Street

For $39 you’ll get to watch the fight at Wicked Willy’s with two hours of open bar that includes Bud Light, Michelob Ultra, Rebel IPA Draft, and any well drinks. Take your pick from any of their TVs, or their main 20-foot screen. More info here. 

SideBAR

Where: 118 East 15th Street

Whether the person you’re rooting for wins or loses, you’ll probably want a drink. At SideBAR you can choose from two ticket options, the open bar lasting two hours with unlimited Bud Light drafts and well drinks ($50), or the general admissions ticket that comes with a complimentary drink ($29). Where: 54 West 21st Street

Get a group together to ball out at Slate with tables for 3 to 8 people, with a bottle of liquor, a bucket of domestic beers, and a food platter to share. Don’t want to go all out? No problem. You can still go to watch the fight in a fun atmosphere with general admission tickets. More info here.

The Chester

When: Saturday, Aug. 26 from 9pm-4am

Where: 18 Ninth Avenue

The Chester is a lovely space in the Meatpacking District to watch the fight without huge crowds of people. For $30 you’ll be able to watch and enjoy your complimentary drink. More info here.
