With less than two weeks to go before Halloween, it’s time to start figuring out your party plans for the weekend long-festivities. NYC’s nightlife for the spooky holiday is one of the best, and draws in big artists, big crowds, and big decorations at the city’s most beautiful venues. Whether you don’t know where to start, or what events are even going on, we’ve got you! We put together our list of what’s bound to be the hottest NYC Halloween parties for this year!
1. House of Spirits: A Haunted Cocktail Soirée
It’s time to get sophisticated and spooked out all in one as you enter Volkov’s Manor at the House of Spirits. Enjoy miniature craft cocktails, macabre magic, tarot readings, strange roaming specters, secret games and so much more as you step into a world like you’ve never seen. This theatrical experience combined with boo-zy cocktails is the perfect way to spend Halloween as an adult!

2. The Cityfox Halloween Festival at Avant Gardner
The Cityfox Festival at Avant Gardner is nothing new, and this Halloween they are back with a two-day festival of house and techno anthems to have you dancing through the late night. The headliners for this year’s shows are Nora en Pure on the 27th and Gorgon City on the 31st! Bring your costume, dance moves, and grab your ticket’s now as they’re moving fast!

3. Circoloco at Brooklyn Navy Yard
Arguably one of the hardest tickets to find in town right now is to Circoloco, an Ibiza-style record label takeover in Brooklyn’s Industry City for two straight nights. Dance with ghouls and goblins for hours into the night while headlining artists Adriatique, DJ Tennis, Seth Troxler, and more spin tunes for hours into the dark evening. Tickets for the actual Circoloco are sold out with a waitlist, but they are doing an afterparty on Sunday too at 99 Scott in Brooklyn. Learn more here.

4. 7 Deadly Sins at Somewhere Nowhere
NYC’s “highest nightclub” is throwing a weekend-long series of Halloween events that will surely put a spell on you and wanting to come back for more. Their lineup of DJs will be playing both sunset and club nights, all while Halloween costumes and decor fill the bass-pumping space. Check out their full lineup below:

5. I LIKED YOU! at PHD-Downtown
Social media influencer Isaac Hindin-Miller is throwing down a chic and spooky Halloween bash this year in collaboration with his “I Like You!” brand in Chelsea. His cheekily named “I Liked You” party will take place at the PHD Rooftop at the Dream Hotel and will feature himself as a DJ and a whole roster of more.

6. City of Gods at Industry City
A product of the iconic House of YES, their upcoming City of Gods spectacle is something you need to see to believe. If you’ve ever been to House of YES, you know they put performance and art first, and at City of Gods it’s turned up even more notches. This theatrical Halloween performance will feature several DJs, several stages, several rooms to explore performance art, extravagent Halloween costumes, and so much more. 7. Haunted Hotel Halloween Extravaganza at Arlo SoHo
Arlo SoHo is going all out for Halloween this year, and their multi-floor dance party is sure to impress. Featuring DJs, live music, burlesque performances, and a 4 hour open bar, the all-in experience will give you a sweet amount of everything you could want. Plus, they’re running a costume contest to win prizes and even redecorating their space to make it more rustic and spooky.

8. The McKittrick Halloween Ball: The Lost Garden at The McKittrick Hotel
“What will you become?” That’s the looming question at this The McKittrick Hotel experience where you can embrace the most sensual and grandest soirées in the entire city. Guests are encouraged to dress as their “spirit’s true form” whether that be The Elemental, The Animal, or The Floral (or in all black if you want to embrace your inner darkness). There will of course be music and an open bar too while you mingle with other stress-free characters fully expressing themself! Learn more about it here.

9. As Above So Below at The Williamsburg Hotel
This Williamsburg Hotel Halloween event is a three-in-one deal, thanks to their expansive space and unique concepts for each area. Whether you choose to hang in the main area (The Haunted Ballroom), gander on over to ‘Dead Disco’ in The Mirror Bar or grab a picturesque view at ‘Heaven’s Gate’ in The Water Tower, an entry ticket allows for roaming to all areas! Music will be played in each space and a 1 hour open tequila bar is happening, since it’s sponsored by Casamigos. Be sure to keep an eye on their calendar for more events too.

10. Project 91 Halloween Weekend at Dream Downtown and 5th&Mad
Project 91 has been bringing in some of the most well known electronic DJs for awhile now, so it’s no shock that their Halloween plans are set to be top-notch. After already selling out one whole event headlined by Sofi Tukker, they have a few more Halloween events up their sleeve which you can see below:

- Saturday, Oct 29 – A Nightmare on 36th Street Halloween Party w/ music from special guest DJs at 5th&Mad

11. Elsewhere Halloween at Elsewhere
Our favorite Bushwick club Elsewhere is throwing down for Halloween, twice. With a designated Halloween party planned on the 29th and another celebrating its 5 year anniversary on the 31st, the spooky and celebratory vibes will surely be felt. The actual Halloween party is slated to headline Dan Shake and Jasper James while their night-of-Halloween bash will feature world renowned DJ Mura Masa. 12. A Nightmare on Delancey at The Delancey
Choose between the main floor or the rooftop at The Delancey, as “A Nightmare on Delancey” takes over the dance floor for a Friday night. Dress up in your costume and prepare to scream and dance to Top 40, Hip Hop, House and Mash Ups all night long. Be prepared to see why it’s going to be “devilishly” hot. See the music lineup here.

13. Hallo-Whine + More at Schimanski
Pick your poison at Schimanski, where you can choose between their “Hallo-Whine” event in their smaller Schimmi space or a complete trance takeover in their main room. A dazzling dance floor, full-service bar, and island vibes will be the star of the show, and don’t forget about the special Halloween twist that’ll be on display. 14. Nightmare on 21st St at Slate
Slate is one our favorite lounges in NYC, and the Chelsea staple is kicking off Halloweekend with a Friday night bash. Their two floor space will have a separate DJ in each area, and will be the perfect spot to dance the night away with NYC’s finest creatures. 15. Halloween By Cipriani at Musica
Manhattan’s largest nightclub Musica is throwing down an Italian Halloween bash that will have you losing yourself and your soul on the dance floor. Halloween by Cipriani is going down on Halloween night and being headlined by Italian DJ Marco Carola. For even more events, head here.

16. NO BAR x Half Moon Halloween at The Standard
Get ready for a full dance floor, electrifying tunes, and the right amount of spooky at the Half Moon Halloween party at The Standard’s NO Bar. Dance along with some of the hottest DJs and try your odds at their $200 costume competition for a tab to use at the bar. The best part…there’s no cover, so bring your crew and double your chances at the competition’s crown!

17. Headless House Party at Freehold Brooklyn
One of our favorite coffee shop turned clubs is throwing down a Halloweekend party that you simply can’t miss. Their “Headless House Party” is set to feature 3 DJs and decor that will make it the “spookiest house in all of Sleepy Hallow.” The other NYC Freeholds are also doing things for the weekend too including a bottomless brunch on Sunday (Brooklyn) and a Kid’s Day on Monday (both Brooklyn and Freehold in the Park locations). 18. Haunting on the UWS at e’s BAR
For our Upper West Siders, be sure to check out e’s BAR to get involved in their costume contest, karaoke sessions, and so much more. 19. A View to Kill Rooftop Halloween Party at Daintree
Perhaps in the mood for a rooftop soirée? Daintree at the top of Hendrick’s Hotel is throwing an event with carefully curated fall cocktails and music from a guest DJ. Grab an unbeatable glimpse of the NYC skyline and try out an Australian cuisine or wine, all while taking in the haunted atmosphere of the rooftop.
