There’s plenty of events happening around the city this year, spanning from surprise hip-hop performances and free edibles to a weed-themed scavenger hunt with a $5K prize on the line.

MARY Fest
MARY Fest is a one day weed festival coming to Bushwick on April 19th.
The immersive cannabis festival will showcase some of the industry’s most exciting brands. New Yorkers can shop over 30 vendors, including The Dogwalkers, Popped.NYC, incredibles, Marijuana Farms New York, Dime Industries, and so many more!

Flowery Fest at The Flowery
Staten Island-based dispensary, The Flowery, is hosting a special event on April 20th called Flowery Fest, where New Yorkers can shop products and enjoy some very special surprise performances from some of hip-hop’s biggest legacies.

Great Ganja Scavenger Hunt
Long Island City-based dispensary TRENDS is rolling out something very special on 4/20, their first-ever Great Ganja Scavenger Hunt.
New Yorkers can win prizes, social challenges, and giveaways by competing in this weed-themed hunt around the LIC neighborhood. The hunt starts at TRENDS and goes around six secret, weed-friendly businesses where you collect a letter to spell out T-R-E-N-D-S.
The 2–4 hour quest wraps up back at the TRENDS dispensary where everyone walks away with a surprise from their vault, and the fastest participant takes home a wellness gift bag worth over $5k.

Cheech and Chong in theaters
Grab a “bud” and spend 4/20 at the movie theaters checking out the new Cheech and Chong movie, with special screenings on 4/20!
Select AMC theaters will be showing the duo’s brand new “moviementary” Cheech and Chong’s Last Movie that features behind-the-scenes moments, archival footage, and all-new interviews of the iconic stoners over the years.

Washington Square Park cannabis meetup
Every April 20th, thousands of New Yorkers come together at Washington Square Park in Greenwich Village for a massive cannabis meetup!
Usually, there’s plenty of weed giveaways, sales, hustlers, and events to be had. And at 4:20 pm, you guessed it, everyone lights up in unison. (And before and after that too).

Free bagels from Kiva + new edible chocolate bar launch
Cannabis confectionary brand Kiva is celebrating the unofficial holiday on April 19th (the day before 4/20) by teaming up with NYC dispensary Gotham to give out free bagels at all four locations (Bowery, Chelsea, Williamsburg, and Hudson) from 11 am – 1 pm.
Plus, the brand is also dropping a limited-edition Everything Bagel Seasoning Dark Chocolate Bar for 4/20—a love letter to New Yorkers made with rich dark chocolate, cold water hash, and a sprinkle of everything bagel seasoning for the perfect savory-sweet combo.

Gotham dispensary’s new Chelsea location
Beloved NYC cannabis dispensary and concept store, Gotham, just opened their brand new store in Chelsea ahead of 4/20!
Be sure to stop and shop their awesome products, and even get a look at the brand’s first-ever street level Gotham Gallery– the first dedicated exhibition space within a cannabis retail environment.
The Gallery will debut with “The World is Yours,” a collaborative exhibition by legendary rapper Nas and the future-conscious design studio Objects Are By.
