holiday-themed winter pop-up restaurant opens today, complete with Christmas trees, log cabin, snug cozy blankets, heat lamps, string lights, and most important, delicious grub!
Halloween’s over, sure we haven’t gotten through Thanksgiving yet, but that doesn’t mean NYC isn’t going to skip ahead into the holiday season. For once, when you see this popup, you’ll be glad they did.
High above Fifth Avenue, Birreria a rooftop restaurant and microbrewery offers amazing craft beer and food under the stars and skyline. Their retractable roof and heaters make it the perfect spot for a Holiday themed pop-up restaurant. Opening today, taking the holiday spirit vibe from the ski lodges of the Italian Alps, with raclette and beef shank a polenta bar and holiday themed decor, Eataly presents the city with Baita.
In Piemonte, an Italian region bordering France and Switzerland, Baita (pronounced bye-tah) is the dialect word for a small ski lodge in the Italian Alps. Now, high above the slopes of Fifth Avenue, Baita offers a warm retreat with a retractable glass roof and views of the neighboring Flatiron building. The views may be all NYC, but Baita’s food and drink will transport you to the Italian Alps.
Baita opens today and will stick around until Spring 2018, 11:30 am to 11 pm. Take a look at their Food and Beverage Menu and their Dessert Menu to see the delicious bites on offer.
Let’s check out some images of the rooftop winter wonderland from last years pop-up:
