
Hudson Yards will bring back its beloved Backyard Programming presented by Wells Fargo for summer 2025, filled with a stellar concert lineup, CityPickle and silent book parties. It’s all kicking off on May 2nd, 2025.
“Hudson Yards is one of New York City’s most vibrant neighborhoods, offering a dynamic blend of trending restaurants, top-tier retail brands, and year-round cultural programming,” said Stephanie Fink, Senior Vice President of Marketing, Partnership and Events for Hudson Yards. “We are excited to continue welcoming New Yorkers to our diverse range of free outdoor programming this season in our Backyard.”

Paw Play Days
Get your puppy fix in with Paw Play Days. On these days, people can bring their pups along with them for portraits and treats, courtesy of Dog City, or puppy meet and greets with Dylan’s Candy Bar’s nonprofit that supports animal welfare. Plus, you can even adopt a new furry friend from Rescue City and Animal Haven.

Sports and movie screenings on the Big Screen
New Yorkers can catch screenings of their favorite films or highly-anticipated sports events on Hudson Yards’ 30-foot Big Screen in the Public Square and Gardens.
Spring movie lineup:

As for sports viewing, May’s schedule will include: Kentucky Derby and Oaks, F1 Miami Grand Prix, Sail GP (Rio de Janeiro), IIHF World Championship, Preakness Stakes, MLB Rivalry Weekend, English FA Cup Final, Nascar All-Star Race, F1 Monaco Grand Prix, Indy500, and Roland Garros French Open.
