We see corn dogs, funnel cakes, cotton candy, and candy apples in your future… Summer is right around the corner, which means the beloved Astoria Park Carnival is getting ready to return in all its nostalgic, neon-lit glory!
This June, Astoria Park will once again transform into a buzzing carnival packed with thrilling rides, classic games, live entertainment, and all the fried fair food your heart could want–making it one of Queens’ ultimate summer traditions. Even better: admission is completely free.
Here’s everything you need to know about the 2026 Astoria Park Carnival.
When is the Astoria Park Carnival?
The annual five-day event will return to Astoria Park Wednesday, June 3 to Sunday, June 7, 2026. Hours of operation are as follows:
- 6/3 Wednesday: 4 pm – 10 pm
- 6/4 Thursday: 4 pm – 10 pm
- 6/5 Friday: 4 pm – 11 pm
- 6/6 Saturday: 12 pm – 11:59 pm
- 6/7 Sunday: 12 pm – 11 pm
Where is it?
The carnival takes place on the corner of Hoyt Ave N and 19th Street under the RFK Bridge–complete with sweeping East River and NYC skyline views as the backdrop.
How much do tickets cost?
While admission to the carnival is free, you must purchase tickets for rides.
- Single ride tickets: $1.50 each
- 20 ride tickets: $32 ($30 cash)
- 50 ride tickets: $62 ($60 cash) includes one free ride
Ride tickets are available for purchase on site daily at the carnival’s ticket box offices.

What else should I know?
Before you go, keep the carnival’s parental policy in mind: guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is at least 21 years old during all operating hours. There’s also a limit of four minors per adult.
As for payments, both credit and debit cards are accepted, and there will also be an ATM on site if you need cash.
