New Yorkers eat an estimated 111 bagels a year, and we take our local spots very seriously. If you’ve been paying attention to the local food scene, you know that Apollo Bagels is one of the city’s fastest-growing brands.
What started as a humble pop-up in a Williamsburg pizza shop just two years ago has exploded in popularity. To keep up with our massive carb cravings, they’ve just opened their ninth location.
A massive new Brooklyn bakehouse

This isn’t just any regular storefront. Located inside the bustling food hall at Industry City, this new spot serves as Apollo’s very first production flagship.
Spanning a massive 5,075 square feet, the space is built to handle serious volume. The centralized kitchen churns out a staggering 15,000 bagels daily (that’s over 100,000 a week!). These naturally fermented, boiled beauties are then packed up for overnight delivery to all Apollo locations across the five boroughs.
Watch the magic happen
The best part for us bagel lovers? You get a front-row seat to the action.
The new bakehouse features an open window that lets the public watch the entire bagel-making process. From the initial fermentation all the way to the final boil and bake, it’s the first time Apollo has made its craft completely visible to the public.
It’s also a major perk for the 8,500 daily workers at Industry City’s campus. Whether they’re at an AI startup or a design studio, locals can now grab piping hot, fresh Apollo bagels without ever leaving the building. Plus, the expanded footprint gives the brand plenty of room to test and develop exciting new menu items.
