If Anna Delvey (a.k.a Anna Sorokin) showed us anything, it was how to swindle your way through NYC elites. And after being placed on house arrest in her Manhattan apartment in October 2022, we were undoubtedly intrigued to discover that she would begin hosting dinner parties right out of her home.
And if our inability to peel our eyes away from the TV when bingeing her Netflix series Inventing Anna was good for anything, it was to prepare us for the unthinkable but, honestly, to be expected fact that Delvey’s intimate dinner parties have garnered enough interest to land their own TV show…that we’ll all, of course, be bingeing once again.
According to Variety, Delvey’s new unscripted series, titled “Delvey’s Dinner Club,” will film inside her East Village apartment and allow viewers a behind-the-scenes look as she “reinvents herself and her name.”
The series is a way for Delvey to tell her story, and what better way than at one of the hottest tables in town–her dining table.
“A Delvey-invited group of actors, musicians, founders, socialites, journalists and other esteemed guests will join her each week around a private-chef catered table replete with candid conversations where no topic is off-limits – including Anna’s experience within the criminal justice system, her strategy to rebuild her image and her plans for the future” Variety reports was stated in a press release.
In a statement to Page Six, Delvey stated dream guests include Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas, Madonna, Elon Musk, Serbian artist Marina Abramovic, lawyer and former Secretary of State Cyrus Vance, and author Ottessa Moshfegh.
“There’s nothing like the experience of bringing together a curated group of friends to share life stories and enjoy a great culinary experience,” Delvey reportedly said in a statement. “I’m grateful for the opportunity to work with Wheelhouse and Butternut to bring my vision to a wider audience and share a glimpse of the real Anna Delvey.”
The series comes from Butternut, the lifestyle-focused venture from Wheelhouse Entertainment. A premier date has not yet been released.
