Crayon-covered trains
Two of Amtrak’s ACS-64 Sprinter electric locomotives will be wrapped in a colorful Crayola design to inspire creativity along the Northeast Corridor between Washington D.C. to Boston, passing through NYC.
The Amtrak trains feature eight retired crayon colors that Crayola is re-introducing for the first time in the company’s 122-year history. This includes the prominent colors seen on the two trains like Violet Blue and Dandelion. Onlookers can even see the Crayola Ambassador of Creativity, Dan D, on the side of the trains.
Crayola Experience
In addition to free rides, children ages 2-12 with an Amtrak ticket will have free admission to the epic Crayola Experience in Easton, PA, Mall of America, MN, Orlando, FL, or Plano, TX. A child’s Amtrak ticket must be presented at the Crayola Experience check-in counters from travel dates between now through August 31st, 2025 to get free admission through September 30th, 2025.
