The limited-time deal lets new Amtrak Guest Rewards® Preferred Mastercard® holders earn 40,000 bonus points—equivalent to more than $1,000 in Amtrak travel! All you need to do is apply by July 30, 2025, get approved, and make at least $2,000 in purchases over the first three billing cycles of the account opening.
The card has a $99 annual fee, but comes with a ton of perks!

For those not interested in becoming a cardholder, but planning to travel via Amtrak this summer, it’s completely free to join Amtrak Guest Rewards. Members can start earning points (two points for every dollar spent on Amtrak) as soon as they’re enrolled. Moreover, travelers will get a 25% point bonus for Business Class travel and a 50% point bonus for Acela First Class travel.
