With winter long gone in Westeros and in NYC, summer is fully here and has brought with it a brunch feast fit for Kings and Queens. A Game of Thrones-inspired brunch (and dinner) is hitting NYC next weekend for what’s sure to be an epic spectacle that you won’t want to miss; but don’t worry, this one will be nothing like the Red Wedding.
The immersive medieval banquet is a themed dining experience that will transport guests back to the heart of the Middle Ages—or your favorite medieval fantasy world. This experience encourages its guests to come dressed as their favorite characters, and dine together with knights, tavern wenches, lords and ladies. Taking place at Radegast Hall & Biergarten on Saturday, July 20, and Sunday, July 21, you’ll be able to indulge in some delicious fare for your brunch and/or dinner feast. In addition to the buffets, the two-day extravaganza will feature medieval music, a jester, and plenty of ale to go around.
For brunch, guests can expect to find a variety of items to choose from including lemon and ricotta pancakes, vegetable latkes, frittatas, club sandwiches, and German potato salad. As for the dinner buffet the available dishes will include spring salad, carrot and pea latkes, vegetable kas spaetzle, veal schnitzel, and spicy Hungarian goulash and dumplings.
Those looking to add alcohol to their meal (which at a medieval feast would seem blasphemous not to) you’ll be able to imbibe unlimited beer, wine, mimosas, and bloody marys over the course of two hours.
Tickets to the extravagant feast are limited so be sure to grab them here asap!
