Scoring an affordable apartment in NYC can feel like hitting the housing jackpot, especially when market-rate rents keep climbing. But through the city’s affordable housing lotteries, eligible New Yorkers can apply for apartments at prices that are often significantly lower than what they’d typically pay on the open market.
Interested? Well you’re in luck. Applications officially open tomorrow, Friday, October 30, for Kingsland Commons, an 18-story new development at 89 Maspeth Avenue in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Through the housing lottery, eligible New Yorkers can apply for apartments starting as low as $751. Even more, the development offers several sought-after amenities.
