Das Projekt wurde ursprünglich von Léa und Marianne Perret, den Gründerinnen von Coucou French Classes, initiiert, hat aber inzwischen auch die Unterstützung anderer lokaler Geschäftsinhaber gewonnen. Es gibt sogar handgemalte Schilder, die die Straße schmücken!
Obwohl der Hauptteil des Viertels als Centre Street zwischen Broome und Grand St. bekannt ist , gibt es viele weitere französische Geschäfte nur einen Katzensprung entfernt.

- Maman (239 Centre St.): Diese französische Bäckerei und dieses Restaurant haben viele Standorte in ganz NYC, und ihr wunderschönes Lokal in SoHo liegt mitten im Herzen von „Little Paris“. Dies war auch ihr erster Standort! Es gibt Sitzgelegenheiten im Freien auf der Straße, von wo aus man die historischen, europäisch inspirierten Gebäude in der Nachbarschaft bewundern kann, oder man geht zum hinteren Teil des Ladens, wo sich ein Garten befindet. Wir lieben die Mandelcroissants und Schokoladenkekse.
- French Cheese Board (56 Spring St.): Dieser Käseladen ist viel mehr als nur ein Käseladen – neben dem Verkauf einer Vielzahl von köstlichen importierten Käsesorten und Zubehör wie handwerklich hergestellten Marmeladen, Honig und Crackern finden hier auch Kunstveranstaltungen und Ausstellungen statt, und es gibt sogar ein „Kulturlabor“ mit Kochkursen, Demonstrationen von Käsekombinationen und mehr.

3. Compagnie des Vins Surnaturels (249 Centre St.): Was wäre Klein-Paris ohne einen Ort, an dem man am Abend ein Glas Wein genießen kann? Hier kommt die Compagnie des Vins Surnaturels ins Spiel, die sowohl über gemütliche Innen- als auch über großzügige Außenplätze verfügt. Genießen Sie eine große Auswahl an Flaschen- und Glasweinen (darunter Weiß-, Rot-, Rosé-, Schaum- und Orangenweine und sogar alkoholfreie Weine) sowie eine einfache, aber köstliche Speisekarte mit Salaten, Pasta, Tartar und Käsekuchen.

7. Catbird (253 Centre St.): Lassen Sie sich mit dem Forever-Armband des aus Brooklyn stammenden eklektischen Juweliers ein Stück Poesie für die Ewigkeit schenken, das Sie jeden Tag tragen können!
