1. Welling Court Wandmalerei-Projekt, Astoria
Im Jahr 2009 arbeitete Ad Hoc Art NYC in Brooklyn mit der Gemeinde zusammen, um das Welling Court-Viertel in Astoria mit dem Welling Court Mural Project zu verschönern. Die Wirkung dieses Projekts war größer als erwartet und wurde von allen wichtigen Street-Art-Publikationen, von der New York Times bis zum New Yorker, veröffentlicht.
Heute, 15 Jahre später, ist es eines der am längsten laufenden Wandmalereiprojekte in den fünf Stadtbezirken. Es gibt über 150 Wandbilder, die von Künstlern aus allen Teilen der Welt gemalt wurden und die alle hier zu finden sind.

2. First Street Green Art Park, East Village
Dieser verlassene Bauplatz an der 33 East 1st Street dient der Lower East Side seit 2008 als offener Kunstraum und Garten, als die FSG ihn in Zusammenarbeit mit den NYC Parks und Partnership for Parks erfolgreich in den First Park integrierte.

Coney Art Walls war ein Freilichtmuseum für Straßenkunst, das vom Immobilienmogul Joseph J. Sitt und dem Superstar unter den Kunsthändlern, Jeffrey Deitch, kuratiert wurde. Coney Art Walls präsentierte von 2015-18 achtundsechzig Wandbilder und Wandprojekte von vielen der weltweit führenden Straßen- und Graffitikünstler und zieht heute den ganzen Sommer über Zehntausende von Besuchern an.

9. Entlang der Linie J/M/Z
In diesem Teil Brooklyns entlang der J/M/Z-Linie herrscht kein Mangel an lokaler Straßenkunst. Eine Gruppe namens JMZ Walls wollte, dass mehr Gebiete in Bushwick von der Verschönerung durch Straßenkunst profitieren, also wandte sich Alberto Mejia an Gebäudeeigentümer und startete das Projekt 2014. Ihr Wunsch ist es, „die JMZ-Linien bunter zu machen – eine Wand, ein Tor, ein Platz nach dem anderen“.

10. DUMBO Walls, DUMBO
DUMBO Walls entstand 2012, als acht Wände in der Nähe der U-Bahn-Station York Street mit farbenfrohen Wandmalereien versehen wurden.
