10 Things To Do This Weekend That Are Worth Braving The Cold For

No need to let the cold keep you cooped up in your apartment. Despite the dropping temperatures, the city is just as lively as it ever is. Here are 10 awesome things to do this weekend, courtesy of our favorite event discovery app, Fever:

1. 90s Party At Webster Hall

Everyone knows Webster Hall is one of the best party venues in the city. You can get a ticket to their 90s party this Friday for only $10, if you buy it on the Fever app. Once you start drinking and dancing, you’ll forget it’s bitterly cold outside.

2. Mardi Gras in January

Mardi Gras is coming early at Hudson Terrace this Saturday. Get a rooftop view of the city and take advantage of the one hour open vodka bar to get warm. Entry is free for Fever users.

3. Jazz Brunch Boat Cruise

If you want to the life of luxury for a day, get a ticket for this booze cruise on Hornblower’s fabulous yacht this Sunday. Your ticket includes a breakfast buffet and unlimited mimosas, and you can enjoy fabulous views of the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, and the Brooklyn Bridge.

4. FIXED at Good Room

If you want to party but you’re on a budget, have no worries. You can get free entry at Brooklyn’s hottest club, Good Room, this Saturday. FIXED, the party professionals, are bringing DJs Dave P, JDH and more.

5. Friday Night P(art)y

If you’re looking for a party that’s a little more cultured, Tribeca Art Factory has what you need. For $30 you’ll get access to an all-night open bar and complimentary small plates this Friday. There will be a DJ spinning all night, and you’ll get a chance to look at affordable art for sale, or chat with the artists and give input on the pieces.

6. Painting Party

If you’d rather create the works of art than just look at them, get a ticket for a painting party at The Irish Exit. You’ll paint, drink wine and munch on snacks.

7. Shoe-Inn Warehouse Sale

If shopping is your entertainment of choice, you’ll definitely want to take advantage of Shoe-Inn’s warehouse sale this Friday. Prices will be as low as $20, and some of these shoes are up to a $1250 value! It’s free, but go on Fever to get a ticket, because only a limited number of people will be let in.

8. A Night Out with Nightcap Riot

This is a package deal like no other—$50 for a complete NYC night out. You’ll get an artisanal beverage tasting, access to a specialty cocktail bar, and high quality entertainment.
