This Side-Splitting NYC Show Shines A Light On The Darkest Corners Of The Web

share on:

Most of the time we spend on the internet we’re alone, even when swiping and scrolling on our cellphones, we laugh, frown, and gasp in the comfort of our own minds… but what if someone shined a light on those dark corners of the internet we find so amusing? That’s exactly what the creators of Blogologues, Allison Goldberg and Jen Jamula, do.

They act out community forums, Missed Connections, Yelp reviews, OkCupid profiles, fan fiction, tweets and comment sections; They breathe life into those car-crashes of human interaction that make us say “WTF?” and make us ROFL in the process.

Imagine that acquaintance-from-high-school’s derpy facebook post transformed into a full-blown musical number …or a venom-filled youtube comment performed as a kindergarten book report. This hilarious show will have you LOLing none-stop, it’s possible you may never look at the internet in the same way again.

It’s also worth mentioning a show they’ve just launched called “How To Break Up By Text.” Audience members submit breakup texts for a free shot, while they perform and analyze them *on the spot*!
